A few of our members have been out to Kauai Raceway Park and have seen firsthand the damage caused by the hurricane. There will be significant work to be done to clean up the entry road and all of the track and surrounding area. It is too soon to know when we'll be racing again. For now, please focus on yourself, your family, neighbors, and your property. We will provide updates as we assess the situation.

The Kauai Raceway Park is the Western most NHRA track in the USA. We are a member of the "Magnificent Seven" and was awarded the "Most Improved" track in 2014.

GIRA (Garden Isle Racing Association) is a not-for-profit corporation which promotes safe motorsports and responsible street driving. All drag racing events take place at the Kauai Raceway Park, a National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) sanctioned track. GIRA hosts hundreds of spectators and competitors, with racers as young as 8 years old each year!
